"When a slow sinking braided main line is needed SSB ticks all the boxes"
Similar to it's fast sinking partner SBM this quality braided main line is dark green in colour but is a slow sinking material.
Some times a fast sinking braid can cause you problems, especially when fishing waters with lots of underwater vegetation. The last thing you want is your main line to become imbedded in weed, so a slow sinking braid is ideal in those circumstances. SSB will settle gently on top of weed meaning your in direct contact with your capture from the off.
At 25lb/0.30mm like all of Katran's braids it has very high abrasion resistance and a thin diameter.
SSB can be bought in single 300m spools, but if you buy more than one spool they will come attached to each other enabling you to spool up to a maximum 1800 meters of braid.
As with all good braids you can be sure of high sensitivity and next to no stretch, both very important factors to consider for extreme long range fishing.
